The education, mental health and informatics special interest group

About

Data science approaches are increasingly playing a significant role in mental health and education research, from big data linkages to digital health technologies which help assess, monitor and treat young people with mental health problems.

CLASS is a forum to bring together academics, clinicians, informaticians, policy makers and other stakeholders with an interest in mental health, health informatics, and educational research.

Members can be at any stage in their career and working in any discipline.

Our Meetings

At our first meeting in 2019, we heard about ongoing projects and started discussions on some of the practical, methodological and ethical issues we face.

Our second meeting took place in 2021. It was a great afternoon of presentations, discussions, a breakout session, a panel discussion, and an optional networking session. You can find recordings of our 2021 presentations and panel discussion below.
